Traveling with a Toddler, Relatability in Friendships, Making Amends with an Ex

While Kristina and family have had a blast while traveling in the Greek Islands, it’s not all chill beach hangs and aperol spritzes when you have a toddler. Kristina is surrounded by her childhood friends and family who now also have kids, and she’s realizing the importance of having friends who can relate to what you’re going through (especially re: parenting). We talk about having different types of friendships in different seasons and the importance of them all. We also share our maybe unpopular opinions about whether or not you should make amends with an ex, and what happened when Raeann reconnected with an ex before her European travels this summer.

“I’ve realized how I’ve felt really alone at points throughout this past year.” - Kristina

What we talk about:

  • The start of Leo season/Raeann’s birthday month

  • Trying to be more present

  • Kristina’s son Nikolas’ evolution during this trip

  • Kristina’s lost luggage

  • A designer purchase FLOP

  • Toe hair

  • Men in flip flops: does it give you the ick?

  • Reality TV and the toll public opinion (via social media) takes on cast members’ mental health

  • Getting back with an ex: is it a good idea?

“I saw my ex before my trip. We did make amends, but it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.” - Raeann
