131. Knix Founder Joanna Griffiths on Taking Risks, Innovating & Celebrating All Bodies

We're very excited to have a role model of ours, founder and CEO of Knix Joanna Griffiths, on the podcast! Joanna is a Canadian entrepreneur and launched Knix in 2013. She's honestly revolutionized the industry with her leak proof underwear, and they have now expanded into apparel and swim. Knix is one of the first brands to ever use real people of all ages and sizes on their website and marketing, and it’s because Joanna truly believes all women should be seen.

In this conversation you’ll learn more about her entrepreneurial journey, how she built the Knix brand with innovation, community and inclusion in mind, challenges she faced, how she handles change and how she balances being a mom and CEO. She is a testament to not living life safe, and is all around super inspirational. It’s clear that Joanna cares so much about her brand, her vision, and most importantly the community. No matter where you are in your life, you're going to learn so much from her story.

We have this mantra at Knix which is safe is risky, and sometimes the riskiest thing in the world is to play it safe. And that's how we feel right now. There are so many different brands, there's so many options. How are we really gonna connect with our customers and make them know that we're different? And to do that we have to take risks. - Joanna Griffiths
